BENEFITS:
- Colour coordination
- Good grip
- Very good abrasion resistance
- Very good clutch and jammer performance
- Very good heat resistance
MARINE GRANDE SUPERYACHT DOCKLINE
Marina Grande Superyacht Dockline has been engineered using our Opti-Twist yarn process. Opti-Twist provides outstanding abrasion and shock absorbing properties whilst being comfortable to handle and remaining supple, even after long exposure to water and the elements. This 100% Polyester mooring rope will not suffer from shrinkage, strength loss or UV degradation like nylon ropes.
BENEFITS:
- Good strength
- Good UV resistance
- Flexible and easily spliced
- Good abrasion resistance
- Good elongation
- Good resistance to shock loads
- No strength loss when wet
- Zero water shrinkage
OCEANUS
Oceanus is a high strength, low elongation “jacketed” rope using a specially designed high Dyneema SK99 or SK78 core. Firm and round in profile, Oceanus has been specifically designed for use on captive or traction winches and offers excellent drum spooling properties. The Dyneema / Technora cover significantly improves abrasion and cut resistance, whilst offering excellent grip and protection of the load bearing core. Core and cover are bonded along length of rope offering superior core / cover adhesion, virtually eliminating cover slip. A 32 plait version made with bio-based Dyneema has allowed the use of a thinner cover which in turn has allowed a larger core to be used. Benefits include increased strength and improved factors of safety in applications where size is constrained. The core design has also been engineered to improve splicing and resistance to bending and compression fatigue.
Splicing
Splicing is our speciality. From precision eye splices to perfectly tapered halyards, our fully customisable service offers expert craftsmanship in a choice of colours, shapes, and sizes – with the option to include or reuse fittings. Every detail is tailored to deliver a flawless, bespoke result.
